Description of Work for this Position

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking multiple part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses. Possible assignments may include MAT 101 – Math for Liberal Arts, MAT 105 – Math Study Skills/Algebra Review, MAT 111 – College Algebra, MAT 112 – Trigonometry, MAT 151 – Basic Calculus, MAT 161 – Calculus/Analytical Geometry, STT 210 – Statistics in Health Science, STT 215 – Introduction to Statistics or other lower division courses as needed.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidate must have a master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related field at the time of appointment.

Certifications or licensure required to perform the essential functions of the position
Preferred formal education or training, professional skills and work experience

Previous experience teaching in university, college or community college setting preferred.
