Brief Description of Work for this Position

This position will enforce the campus parking rules and regulations by educating customers, issuing citations (either computer generated or hand-written), and applying/removing immobilized devices. Additional duties will include completing associated forms and reports regarding enforcement and maintenance issues. Lastly, employees will participate in regular maintenance of parking areas and signage.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and listen.
May be required to enforce on foot, on bicycle or in a vehicle to facilitate duties and responsibilities.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have at least one year of experience working with the public and good communication skills

Must demonstrate the ability to understand and apply parking regulations

Must demonstrate the ability to be professional and communicate appropriately in difficult situations

Must demonstrate the ability to exercise sound independent judgment while maintaining a high level of customer service

Must demonstrate the ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner

Must have the ability to walk for extended periods of time, while working outside in all weather conditions

Certifications or licensure required to perform the essential functions of the position

Valid/current driver’s license is required

Preferred formal education or training, professional skills and work experience

Any combination of High School, GED, Trade School, and verifiable on job experience as it pertains to the position.

Work Hours 4:00PM - 12:00AM
Work Days Varies - Must be flexible. Primary work schedule will be Monday-Thursday.
