Description of Work for this Position

The Department of Biology and Marine Biology is seeking multiple part-time instructors to teach undergraduate laboratory sections for introductory and advanced courses. Possible assignments include the courses: Concepts of Modern Biology; Principles of Biology – Cells; Principles of Biology – Biodiversity; Ecology, Genetics; Human Anatomy and Physiology. Other assignments may also be possible.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates must have a master’s degree in biology, marine biology, or a related field in hand at time of appointment.

Certifications or licensure required to perform the essential functions of the position
Preferred formal education or training, professional skills and work experience

Preference will be given to those with teaching experience at the university level.
